Every gathering at OMHouse begins with a feeling. The hush of the oaks, the soft lake light, the sense that time has slowed enough to hold something meaningful. Whether your moment is intimate or celebratory, we offer the estate as a beautiful backdrop for whatever you imagine.

Our events are venue-only, allowing you to bring your own planner, caterers, and creative team to shape the details with care. This approach keeps your celebration personal while ensuring the day unfolds smoothly.

Event Pricing

We offer two ways to host events at OMHouse:
Overnight stays or One-day event rental.

  • Two Night Estate Stay
    Event fee: $700
    Event cleaning fee: $150 to $250
    Taxes not included.

    Four Nights or Longer Estate Stay
    Event fee: $500
    Event cleaning fee: $150 to $250
    Taxes not included.

    These preferred rates are offered to guests who reserve the entire estate and wish to host a gathering during their stay.

  • Starting at $2200

    (No overnight stay required)

    Cleaning fee: $200 to $300
    Taxes not included.

    Enjoy an eight-hour rental to give you plenty of time to create a beautiful, relaxed event flow.

    Event cleaning is separate from overnight stay cleaning and includes:
    • resetting shared spaces
    • event trash cleanup
    • grounds and porch restoration
    • additional sanitation

    Some event coordinators include cleaning in their service packages. Please inquire, and we will gladly coordinate with your planner or vendor to ensure fair and appropriate pricing.

  • Celebrate

    Whether it’s a wedding, birthday, anniversary, graduation or just a reason to celebrate life, OMHouse invites you to create your special event with us in an intimate, historic setting.

  • Reunite

    Family and friend reunions, corporate events or holiday gatherings are an OMHouse specialty. Booking the entire home for our two-night minimum gives you a discount on the event rental.

  • Play

    We host murder mystery nights, clue parties, and theatrical troupes, to name a few creative ways to play. The home has also been the backdrop of several movie and documentary films.

FAQs

Oakland Manor House is the perfect setting for intimate events. We are licensed by the town of Oakland to have up to 50 guests (100 with special arrangements). We are a venue-only rental service, but we can provide recommendations for catering and beverages. Although it is not required to book the overnight rooms, except during specific holidays, discounted rates are available for the venue fee when renting the entire property.

  • Event rentals provide access to the estate’s main indoor rooms, the lakeside porch and the surrounding grounds for the hours reserved.

  • OMHouse is a venue-only property. We do not provide planning, catering, setup or breakdown services. Most guests choose to work with a professional planner to ensure the day flows smoothly.

  • Yes. Guests may prepare their own food and have use of the chef’s kitchen. Outside caterers or food service teams must be licensed and insured.

  • Yes. You may bring your own licensed and insured planners, florists, bartenders and creative partners. We are also happy to share a list of trusted local vendors upon request.

  • OMHouse is best suited for intimate gatherings, usually between 15 and 50 guests depending on event style and space needs. Special exceptions up to 100 can be permitted in conjunction with the town of Oakland.

  • Yes, when served by a licensed bartender or caterer.

  • Event fees, cleaning fees and taxes apply. Overnight stays are billed separately. A liability waiver and refundable security deposit are required and clearly outlined in the rental contract.

  • Once we have your event details, guest count and preferred date, we will prepare a personalized estimate with all anticipated fees and requirements.
